I signed up for the restock alert and forgot about it for a bit, then the notification came through quickly. I jumped on it right away, got the item I needed, and checkout was simple too. Kind of nice when a feature actually does what you hoped it would.

I ordered from newtype.us, and to be honest, the product info just wasn’t clear enough for me. I’m particular about knowing exactly what I’m buying, especially when the price isn’t cheap, and the description was missing basic details I normally look for. The photos helped a bit, but I still felt like I was guessing whether it was the right item. For me, that’s not really good enough. I’d consider buying again if they improve the product pages, but as it stands, it was a frustrating experience.

I was so happy to see they offer international shipping now. Ordering from outside the US was easy, tbh, and I didn’t have to mess around with a forwarding service. Overall, a good experience lol

I ordered from newtype.us and chose local pickup since I’m close by. It was way easier than waiting on shipping, and I got an email once it was ready. The pickup spot wasn’t hard to find, though I did have to wait a few minutes. Overall, it was a good experience and I’d definitely use it again

I ordered a kit from newtype.us, i was impressed with how it showed up. The box was clean, the parts were wrapped nicely, and there weren’t any crushed corners or random loose pieces inside. It might seem like a small thing, but to me it made the whole order feel handled with care, and that definitely made me happy.

I was excited about my preorder, but... it just kept getting pushed back. The updates were really vague too, so after waiting way too long, I finally gave up and cancelled it.

The site works fine for me. It loads without any trouble, everything is easy to find, what more do you need? No complaints from my end.

I was surprised when my order showed up and I had to pay extra duties at delivery. I didn’t expect that at all?? It would’ve been nice if those fees were made more obvious before checkout.

I’ve ordered from newtype.us a few different times now, mostly for preorder items, and in my experience their release date estimates have been solid. Most of the stuff I bought showed up around when I expected it to, which I really appreciate with hobby orders.

One item did get pushed back a bit, but it wasn’t anything too wild. with preorders, I kind of expect dates to shift here and there, so it didn’t bother me much.

I do think it would be nice if updates came a little quicker when something changes, but overall they’ve been accurate enough for me. I got what I wanted without any major hassle, so I’d give them 4 stars.

I ordered a couple of parts from newtype.us the shipping was quicker than I expected. I got the tracking email maybe the next day, and it actually started moving not long after that. The package showed up in about 4 days, which is solid, right? The box looked fine, everything was there, and nothing was damaged. My only small complaint is that the tracking update was a little slow at first, so I was kind of wondering what was going on. But is that enough to stop me from ordering again? Not really. Overall, good experience.

I tried the discount code at checkout and it just worked, which feels rare now. It took a little off the total and I didn’t have to jump through any strange steps. I mean, if a coupon goes through the first time, that basically makes the whole order feel better to me.

I had to return something and the whole process was way more frustrating than it needed to be. My refund took forever, and I kept having to follow up like it was on me to make sure anything actually happened. It really felt like they made their problem my problem, and nobody was too concerned about fixing it. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from newtype.us again

Adding users and checking account details is easy enough once you figure out where everything is. A few of the menus were a little confusing at first, or maybe I just missed something, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I’m happy with it and would give it 4 stars.

I don’t really get why anyone would knock New Type, because my experience was solid. They had a really good selection, especially for Gunpla and tools, and I found a few kits I couldn’t find anywhere else. I also grabbed some small supplies I’d been needing. The site was easy enough to browse, so yeah, I’ll definitely be checking here first next time.
